What does Print Laser Pro not replace?

Print Laser Pro does not replace RIP software, machine control, advanced illustration for every edge case, DST or PES digitizing, accounting, email marketing, or external fulfillment networks. It prepares and coordinates the maker job, then hands the approved assets and order context to the specialist tools that run your printer, laser, cutter, embroidery machine, books, or campaigns.

How much does Print Laser Pro cost?

I see the subscription is now $79, but I'm still paying $69. Why?

Because your price is locked for life. You signed up while the public price was $69 per month, so you keep that rate as long as your subscription stays active without interruption. New customers pay $79, but your renewals continue at $69 forever. If you cancel and re-subscribe later, you lose the lock and pay the current public price.

Do you offer refunds?

Subscription charges are non-refundable once processed, including when a customer forgets to cancel before a trial or renewal, except where law requires otherwise. Cancel online before the trial ends or before the next renewal to avoid the next charge. We review verified duplicate, unauthorized, or processing-error charges under the Refund Policy.

How do partner store usage fees work?

Qualifying orders placed through partner store embeds on Shopify, GoHighLevel, Wix, Squarespace, and custom sites carry tiered Maker Pay fees on the order subtotal: 8% up to $50 (one dollar minimum), 6.5% to $150, 5% to $500, and 4% above $500. The fee covers hosting, order sync, and customer data storage.

What software do patch makers use to design and price patches?

Print Laser Pro is purpose-built for custom product design. It combines a live mockup canvas with realistic material previews, automatic sizing and pricing calculations, AI image generation, and production exports. Designers save hours versus piecing workflows together across Canva, Illustrator, and manual pricing spreadsheets.

How realistic are the material previews?

The material library includes 50+ textures covering embroidered, woven, chenille, twill, leather, PVC, reflective, and sublimated finishes. The previews help customers compare finish, color, thread direction, and fabric depth before production. They are visual approximations, so final results still depend on the selected material, equipment, color profile, and production settings.

Can I save designs and reload them later?

Yes. Every design saves to your cloud library with unlimited storage across all plans. Load any saved file, edit it, and save as a new variation. The full design history syncs across devices so you can start a mockup on desktop and finish on a laptop without losing state.

Does the AI image generator have per-use costs or limits?

No. AI image generation, AI background removal, and AI image enhancement are unlimited on every paid plan. There are no per-image fees, no monthly credit caps, and no throttling on generation volume. The feature is powered by Gemini and is included in the flat subscription price.

How do I write prompts that produce usable patch designs?

Good patch prompts describe subject, style, color palette, and border shape in that order. For example, 'bald eagle holding an American flag, flat vector illustration, red white and blue, circular border.' Keep prompts under 40 words, avoid photorealism for embroidery, and re-run with small tweaks until the composition lands.

What production file formats can I export?

Export high-resolution PNG, vector SVG, print-ready PDF, and spot channel TIFF with auto-generated cutlines at adjustable offset. Files are sized, color-separated, and DPI-matched to each production process, so the same design works for DTF, UV DTF, laser engraving, UV printing, sublimation, and embroidery digitizing.

What file formats can I export for laser engraving?

Laser engraving exports deliver vector SVG and PDF with layer-separated cut and engrave paths, plus raster TIFF for grayscale raster engraves. Materials, kerf offsets, and line weights follow laser industry defaults and are adjustable per machine. The exported files open directly in LightBurn, RDWorks, and most OEM laser software.

How do I export files for DTF printing?

DTF exports deliver a PNG or TIFF with white underbase channel separated and alpha preserved. The Canvas Builder packs multiple designs onto a single sheet with configurable gap and margin, exports at 300 DPI, and shows live material utilization so you minimize wasted film.

Do exports include cutlines?

Yes. Every export includes an auto-generated contour cutline with adjustable offset, corner radius, and path smoothing. The cutline saves as a separate layer or path inside the same file, which lets your plotter, laser, or die cutter read it directly without a second file round trip.

How do I build a gang sheet for my DTF or UV DTF orders?

Open the Canvas Builder, set sheet dimensions to match your printer, drag designs onto the canvas, and the nesting engine packs them with your chosen gap and margin. A live utilization percentage shows how much material is used. Export at 300 DPI to PNG or TIFF when the layout is optimal.

Why should I use the Canvas Builder instead of nesting manually?

The Canvas Builder keeps sheet size, spacing, margins, design quantity, and utilization visible in one production layout. Manual nesting in Photoshop or Illustrator can work, but it requires the operator to measure and reposition every asset. Print Laser Pro helps the shop compare layouts before export without promising the same yield improvement for every job mix.

How do I create realistic hat mockups for client approval?

Open the Hat Builder, pick a blank from Richardson, Flexfit, Yupoong, or any other supported brand in any available color, then drop your patch or embroidery design onto the front, side, or back. The mockup renders at photographic quality and exports as PNG for proofs, product listings, or social posts.

Which hat brands are in the mockup library?

The library includes Richardson, Flexfit, Yupoong, New Era, Adams, Otto, Pacific Headwear, and other popular blanks across snapback, trucker, dad hat, and fitted styles. Every silhouette is available in the full manufacturer color range so client mockups match the actual blank they will order.

Can I embed the patch designer on a non-Shopify site?

Yes. The universal embed works on GoHighLevel, Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Webflow, and sites that accept custom HTML. Copy the embed snippet from the Partner Stores dashboard and paste it into a page.

What platforms does Print Laser Pro integrate with?

The subscription includes the native Shopify app, TikTok Shop and Meta commerce connections, hosted storefronts, and universal embeds for GoHighLevel, Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, and custom HTML sites. It also includes the production workspace and its handoffs for LightBurn, xTool, SVG, DXF, PNG, TIFF, and PDF workflows. Business-service connections include Stripe, Shippo, Google Drive, and Dropbox, with QuickBooks coming soon.

Does Print Laser Pro integrate with WooCommerce?

You can place the universal Print Laser Pro customizer on a WordPress or WooCommerce site that accepts custom HTML. That lets customers use the builder on the existing site, but it should not be confused with a native WooCommerce order-sync integration. Check the integrations page for the current native-connection status before planning an automated WooCommerce workflow.

How does the Shopify app work?

The Shopify app is included with the subscription. It installs as a theme extension, lets you drop the patch designer onto a product page or dedicated customizer route, and syncs finished designs as line-item properties on the order.

What is a Partner Store?

A Partner Store is a storefront or embedded builder on a third-party platform like GoHighLevel, Wix, or a custom site. Qualifying orders placed through it sync back to your Print Laser Pro dashboard and follow the published tiered usage-fee schedule.

How do I set up a partner store on GoHighLevel or Wix?

Open the Partner Stores dashboard, click New Store, select the host platform, and copy the embed snippet. Paste it into a GoHighLevel funnel, Wix page, or another supported platform. The subscription is $79/month or $790/year with unlimited storefronts and embeds; qualifying store orders use the published tiered usage model.

How do I price a custom patch order for a customer?

The designer calculates size in square inches, converts to a per-inch cost, and applies quantity-tier discounts automatically. Set your shop's cost per square inch once in Settings and every new design quotes instantly. The calculator also accounts for backing, border type, thread count, and rush fees.

Can customers save their own designs and come back later?

Yes. The public embed and hosted storefront support guest and account-based design saves. A customer can start a design, receive a save link by email, and finish later on any device. Shop owners see the full saved design list in the Partner Stores dashboard for follow-up.

Can I use Print Laser Pro for UV printing or only patches?

Yes. The platform supports UV printing, UV DTF, DTF, laser engraving, embroidery, sublimation, and patches. Each process has a dedicated tool with the right export profile, substrate library, and material previews. One subscription covers every production line in a typical maker shop.

Can my whole team share one Print Laser Pro account?

Yes. Every account includes one team seat free, and additional team members are $9 per month each. Designers, customer service reps, and production staff all work from one shared design library, customer list, and order feed so work-in-progress is always visible across the shop.

How is my customer and design data protected?

All data is stored in Supabase with row-level security, encrypted at rest, and transmitted over TLS 1.3. Stripe handles every payment with PCI DSS Level 1 compliance. Only authenticated shop owners and their invited team members can access the design library, customer list, and order history.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings, click Billing, and select Cancel Subscription. Access continues through the end of the current billing period. Design files, saved mockups, and customer data remain downloadable for 30 days after cancellation so you can export or migrate anything you need.

How do I reach support?
